General FAQ's
Q. Who are Sea Ventures?
A. Sea Ventures Ltd are the UK importer for Aquador power boats from Finland and the Southern importer for Jeanneau sailing yachts from Franc, including the Rigiflex range of dinghies and rescue craft. In 2004 Sea Ventures introduced the prestigious Sabre range of sailing yachts and motor cruisers from Maine, USA.
Along with the New Yacht range, Sea Ventures offices in the Hamble and Brighton provide a full range of brokerage service.
Q. Where are Sea Ventures based?
A. Sea Ventures’ main offices are in Lymington, Hampshire, with the commissioning base in Hythe and brokerage offices in Hamble and Brighton.
Q. What is the Sea Ventures Yacht Club?
A. The Sea Ventures Yacht Club is a virtual yacht club set up to provide Sea Ventures yacht owners, crew, guests and friends with a common meeting ground for like-minded people. Sea Ventures are entering into a new phase of customer relations – whereby we want you to get more from your Sea Ventures yachting experience. As well as this online clubhouse – where you can find out about new Sea Ventures events, initiate events of your own and invite other yachts to join you, upload photos from your cruising experiences, keep your own private ship’s log and service history, order parts and equipment online and keep up do date will all the latest news – we publish an annual Sea Ventures Yacht Club magazine, packed with useful features, cruising ideas, recipe ideas, new boats and advice for all your yachting needs.
Q. Where can I get a copy of the Sea Ventures Yacht Club Magazine?
A. To order your copy: simply email davidd@seaventures.co.uk with your name and postal address.
Q. Do I have to own a Sea Ventures yacht to become a member of Sea Ventures Yacht Club?
A. No. Anyone can become a member of Sea Ventures Yacht Club, but an interest in sailing or power-boating and the ranges that we sell is useful! We welcome owners, prospective owners, crews, guests, friends and family alike.
Q. How much does membership cost?
A. Nothing! Membership of SVYC is free.
Q. How do I join?
A. Simply click on the ‘Become a member’ link and sign-up.
Q. How will you use my details?
A. Your details will be stored on our database and will be used to send you your free copy of the Sea Ventures Yacht Club annual magazine. We may also contact you in the future with event or sales promotional material relevant to Sea Ventures and Sea Ventures Yacht Club. Most importantly, we will not pass your details on to any third parties and we will endeavour not to send you anything that you do not want!
